Directors are either elected or appointed to serve a four-year term. Directors assume overall responsibility for the direction and control of Bard Water District and are accountable to the landowners for the appropriate use of available resources, the condition of the system’s infrastructure and meeting the water delivery demands of its customers. Directors should work in partnership with the General Manager, landowners, community members, and other public/private entities to enhance the District’s provision of services. Directors are to provide leadership, continuity and stability to the District over time and the position requires a commitment of time, experience, knowledge and hard work.
